As a staff member with The Stentor, John TerMaat was responsible for some of the paper’s biggest interviews of the time, including an in-depth talk with New York Times columnist Thomas Friedman. Like former Editor-in-Chief Kyle P. Meredith, whom he worked with closely, TerMaat enjoys Alpine sandwiches from the Nollen Café and trips to Buffalo Wild Wings in Vernon Hills. A long time writer, John joined the paper’s editorial staff in January 2008 as a News Editor. In September 2008, he was appointed to Copy Chief. He has since graduated from Lake Forest.
