Kathryn Appelhans, a member of the Class of 2011, is from Bartlett, IL. When she's not spending 15+ hours in the Stentor office every week, Kate is running around campus as part of her involvement with e.team, the Ally Program, W.D.O.B. (hip-hop dance team), the Gates Center, Student Ambassadors, and serving as Secretary of PRIDE. Somehow, she also squeezes in time for friends, and the cooking of very impressive cakes. She also dances wherever she can, whether it be the Stentor office, Deerpath Hall, or the middle of Sheridan Road. An apathetic introvert, Kate welcomes anyone to come up and randomly start a conversation with her, as long as they have an appointment.
